Capabilities

These vehicles are British-built, automatic, right-hand drive, Ford Transits or German built Mercedes Sprintersthat will carry up to 7 persons. All are diesel giving 32-35mpg. Fuel in the UK costs some $US 5 / gallon. Dimensions are: length 15' 0" width 6' 6" height 7' 2" All are fitted with a RICON or similar power hoist at the rear that will lift up to 250 kgs (550 pounds) Wheelchairs are secured using the proven Unwin system which consists of hooked clamps and floor mounted rail, with double inertia belt which is also floor mounted. All vehicles come with a stereo radio/cassette, UK road map, plus motel and other maps and guide books. Disabled windscreen sticker and Royal Auto Club rescue/recovery service comes as standard. Detailed colour brochure available on request. The company also has French built Citroen and German built Mercedes minivans. They are similar to the Ford but manual transmission only.

Charges

Rental rates range from around £90 per day inclusive of taxes, insurance, delivery/collection from LHR or LGW and unlimited mileage. CDW insurance and delivery elsewhere are optional extras. Colour leaflet available on request..
